Destination Canada selects general sales agents in Australia, France and Germany.

Highly experienced teams will handle travel trade and media relations in three important tourism markets for Canada.

Vancouver, BC, October 26, 2015: Three’s company: Destination Canada (DC) is pleased to announce that it has selected its general sales agents (GSAs) for Australia, France and Germanyfollowing an open and competitive RFP process.

The successful companies are DC & Associates in Australia, led by Donna Campbell; Tourisme Synergique in France, led by Sandra Teakle; and TravelMarketing Romberg in Germany, led by Gabi Romberg and Karl-Heinz Limberg. The three GSAs are the current incumbents, which were originally selected in 2010 when DC adopted the GSA model for these three markets. This approach has proved highly effective and efficient in delivering sales and marketing activities.

These GSAs will manage travel-trade sales development and media relations in the three markets. The new contracts in Australia, France and Germany take effect from Jan. 1, 2016. The current arrangements expire Dec. 31, 2015.
