CTC announces new General Sales Agent in South Korea.

AL Marketing to take the reins in Asian tourism market in January 2015.

Vancouver, BC, Oct. 7, 2014:  The Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) is pleased to announce it has awarded the contract as the organization’s General Sales Agent (GSA) for South Korea to AL Marketing. AL Marketing secured this important role for the CTC through an open and competitive contracting process that was conducted this past summer.

The GSA solution has been successfully proven for the CTC in Brazil, India, France, Australia and Germany, where marketplaces are very much suited to this model. The move also supports CTC’s ongoing commitment to flexibility and scalability.

The contract takes effect January 1, 2015. CTC’s Regional Managing Director Siobhan Chretien, will be the project authority.
