Ghana’s Snow Leopard on the prowl in Canada


Vancouver, Feb. 18, 2010 – Before Kwame Nkrumah-Acheamphong, aka the “Snow Leopard” steals the show at the 2010 Winter Games as the sole member of the Ghanaian Olympic team, he was Connecting with Canadians in Whistler and Quebec this summer as he and his family enjoyed a variety of Canada’s extraordinary tourism experiences.

Photos and a video package are available, rights-free for ALL media, of the extra-ordinary tourism experiences in Quebec that Kwame and his family enjoyed.

Video package includes interviews with Kwame discussing his dream to represent Ghana at the 2010 Winter Games and thoughts on Canada, as well as footage of Kwame and his family enjoying spectacular Canadian experiences including summer glacier skiing, zip trekking, alpine gondola ride, jet boat ride through river rapids, horse drawn carriage ride and family fun in Whistler, BC and Montreal, Mont Tremblant and Québec City, QC.

In addition, the package includes footage of Kwame on a tour of the Dave Murray downhill, the venue where he will compete next week in the 2010 Winter Games.

Kwame and his family had a chance to meet locals, and have a great Canadian adventure as part of the Canadian Tourism Commission’s Connecting with Canadians program.
