Destination Canada needs a Travel Trade Specialist to work with the travel trade channel in China, and support the Travel Trade Manager in various trade activities that will generate increased conversion and visitation to Canada. The successful candidate will possess the ability to form strong partnerships within the Chinese travel industry and assist with the development of travel trade training and marketing programs. Duties: Working under the direction of the Managing Director, China and the Travel Trade Manager, key responsibilities include:
Education: Undergraduate degree in marketing and/or tourism, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Experience: When applying, the candidate must clearly demonstrate in writing how they meet the following experience criteria:
Personal Suitability: Effective interpersonal relationships; creativity; judgment; results-oriented; discretion; confidentiality; diplomacy; detail-oriented.
Security: A Reliability Status or a Security Clearance may be required.
