Get the latest info on the CTC and Canadian tourism industry. This time: conventions in Montréal.
A friend of mine is visiting from Finland in February. He’s the project manager for the European Business Leaders’ Convention. Some of their conventions offer a mix of work and tourism activities. I would like to help him do some scouting for a future visit of a group of business leaders that he travels with for these conventions. I don’t quite know what to do for his trip to Canada, which will begin in Montréal, QC. Would you be able to help me?

I suggest a three-pronged approach. First, start with a browse around our official meetings, conventions and incentive travel (MC&IT) website. Here you’ll find a range of resources, including planning tools, FAQs, experiences, sample itineraries and more. Your second stop should be Tourisme Montréal, for some local expertise. Its meeting planners’ website includes direct contact info for Gail Howell, Tourisme Montréal’s manager, Account Development.
And for the hat-trick, if you need more assistance, get in touch with Frei [dot] Susan [at] ctc-cct [dot] ca (Susan Frei), CTC director, International Meetings & Incentives. Although Finland is not one of our key MC&IT markets, she might have some extra pointers for you.
All the best,
