Destination Canada teams up with leading photo influencers for a weekend photowalk in Canada’s largest city.
Street life—there’s a thousand parts for tourism marketing to play in highlighting Canada’s great cities. Destination Canada helped bring hundreds of Instagrammers and photographers to together for a photowalk in Toronto, ON, last month.
Working with High Snobiety, Street Dreams magazine and Toronto’s Free Agency/Creator Class, some of the world’s most respected urban photographers assembled at 176 John Street on May 30 to begin the photowalk. The event covered all areas of Toronto’s downtown urban core.
Destination Canada brought five leading international influencers—takubeats, trashhand, bludshot, Pete Williams and High Snobiety—to the event to raise its profile further, who promoted their work on their social channels using the #explorecanada hashtag.
Content from the photowalk has been shared on High Snobiety’s website and social channels, while Street Dreams also produced two YouTube videos from the weekend.
