The Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) has teamed up with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts to offer its Famous Agents another good reason to sell Canada to consumers.

Agents who complete CTC’s Canada Specialist Program (CSP), the education equivalent of a personal tour through Canada’s knock-your-socks-off tourism experiences, can notch up to 75 bonus points as part of Fairmont’s reward and recognition program. To seal the deal, they also need by Sept. 30 to arrange 10 client room nights at any Canadian Fairmont location. The bonus points are part of the member-only benefits of Fairmont’s Famous Agents program.

The CSP is the gateway for interactive education for an ever-increasing number of travel-trade pros in CTC’s key international markets. The in-depth information, reinforced by a quiz on every module, leaves agents with access to a suite of resources and tools that help them give an extra zing to their Canada sales.

“Fairmont has long been a standard bearer of high-class Canada travel,” says Charles McKee, CTC vice-president, International. “This extra incentive not only benefits the Famous Agents themselves, but through their work on selling Canada, many more international consumers will learn and get excited about the range of adventures our country has to offer.”
